Your K2 adventure begins in Sydney.
Regarded as one of the most beautiful natural harbors in the world, Sydney Harbor is an iconic image of crystal blue waters, sandy beaches, and bustling sea life.
Here, you can cruise past the legendary Sydney Opera House and city skyline as you head out to sea where you may encounter playful dolphins, curious fur seals, friendly sea turtles, or roaming sharks, just to name a few. For the truly adventurous, you can take a dip in the water, swim among the celebrated coral reefs, and experience a world like no other.
The stunning Kosciuszko National Park
Kosciuszko National Park is a year-round playground for trekkers and outdoor lovers! Probably best known for its deserts and beaches, Australia’s Kosciuszko Park offers adventurous souls something surprisingly different – a mountain oasis!
You can ski during the winter months and hike through beautiful snowy peaks and scenic alpine trails. In the spring and summer, the snow gives way to rocky granite outcrops, colorful wildflowers, sparkling lakes, and a once-in-a-lifetime view from Australia’s highest peak.
To summit Mt. Kosciuszko is just a day’s hike from the entrance of the park. However, we will spend two days and one night sleeping out under the stars on Mt. Kosciuszko and enjoying the beautiful landscape. It’s great practice for veteran trekkers and an achievable challenge for newcomers.
From the top, don’t forget to take a moment to soak in the rocky, rolling views that will make you feel like you’re in a whole other world.
